How to capture youth as well as a younger lover
by by LUV2LFT, Moderator @ www.extreme-athlete.com

How to capture youth as well as a younger loverWhen people ask my age, I usually smile and tell them I have no idea!! ... and neither should you, if you want to remain youthful. My chronological age of almost 39 years, is no where near the more appropriate age of 26 to 28 that I feel inside. Age is, after all, just a date on a calendar to be celebrated every year. By taking it too seriously, we often fall into the trap of acting it as well as looking it, and settling for all the aches, pains, extra pounds and public opinions associated with what society deems acceptable for us at a given age. What a bunch of bunk! I have never felt better, more confident, or more at ease with my body than I do right now, and it just keeps getting better.

I love myself now ... and so does my lover--- who happens to be 13 years my junior. Oh yes ladies, that is the best part of all. When you act the age you feel on the inside, and take care of your self through proper nutrition, exercise and weight training, it WILL show to your advantage--- a younger lover potentially being one of them, should you so desire. How many of us wouldn’t want THAT?

Younger men help keep us feeling that way more so than their older counterparts in so many ways. They probably grew up playing video games and writing computer programs, as opposed to men in their 40’s and 50’s that can barely program a VCR. They know how to cook, do dishes and their own laundry because their mothers were most likely working and too busy to always do it for them. They are eager to try new things in bed and don’t take offense to your showing them what you know and like. They actually have the ability to LISTEN and find your extra years of experience fascinating rather than threatening. They take good care of themselves physically, and they want and are able to go to the gym WITH you. And last but not least, they are hard and strong, and can go all n i g h t...over and over again if you like. These are but a few of the advantages that younger men can bring into a relationship to help us feel young and desirable and acting the age we want to be, rather than the age we are stuck with chronologically.

There are a few disadvantages though as well, but they aren’t much in the scheme of things. At the very worst, they may not know who Howard Hughes, Johnny Carson or Barry Manilow were, but then again, who really wants to remember them anyway?! I’m much more interested in who Maynard James Keenan and Kud from Mudvayne are, and what’s happening in the world right now than living in yesterday. The point is, younger men can bring a fresh and inviting perspective into a woman’s life that undoubtedly helps keep the mind and body feeling and looking younger and more invigorated as the chronological years go by.

As for what we can do for ourselves on our own, eating a well balanced diet in proper proportions 3 -6 times a day that is high in protein, low in saturated fats, along with clean complex carbohydrates such as oatmeal and yams, and simple carbohydrates such as broccoli and other vegetables, and lots and lots of pure water is a good start. Women of all ages will benefit from 30-60 minutes a day of aerobic activity at 60-85% of their max heart rate at least 3 -6 days per week. This not only is good for cardiovascular health, but also helps to sweat out toxins, raise your resting metabolic rate, and provide you with increased energy throughout the day. Adequate sleep is also very important and one should strive for 6 to 8 hours a night if possible, to allow the body to fully repair and regenerate itself. Another must is resistive weight training to preserve and build precious muscle and bone mass that we lose as we age. Try to train each major body part at least 3 times a week with a weight you can lift effectively for 10-12 repetitions, increasing the weight as you get stronger. You will begin to see major improvements in your body and your emotional well being anywhere from 3 to 8 weeks.

So ladies, get out there, blow out those birthday candles once and for all, stop acting your "age", and start living life as you would like, rather than how society says you should. And while your at it, ask that cute younger guy at the gym to join you. He may just say "Yes!!"
