Round 1: Jean Charles Skarbowsky started strong, busy with body punches and teeping Khunsuk outside of striking range; with his guard up, Khunsuk absorbs a lot of punches. Countering JCS’s attack, Khunsuk connects with several left high kicks, and at the end of the round, Khunsuk connects with a left elbow that cuts JCS in the top, right, upper corner right eye!

Round 2: JCS continues to work the body with punches and kicks. Khunsuk is taking his time and saving his strength for the later rounds. Expect the level to be turned up in the third.

Round 3: Tough round for both fighters, with JCS putting a lot of pressure, still heating it up with more punch flurries, and puts Khunsuk in trouble, but his chin hold, and he pursues the round with kicks, doubled high kicks! They look even in the conditioning, and their corners share the same sense of urgency. The gamblers look eager to start the 4th round.

Round 4: JCS working like a mad man, and puts more pressure on Khunsuk! It even seemed Khunsuk was getting faded out of the round from all the punches he absorbed. JCS hits hard, and all those body shots may not be worth points, but the damage is huge! Khunsuk weathered the storm, and came back into the fight, serving up high kicks and body kicks! By the look on the faces of the corners, Khunsuk stole the round.

Round 5: By the middle of the final round, JCS was clearly behind. Khunsuk came with kicks from every angle, and JCS kept on coming in for more, focused, determined, looking for the big punch delivering the KO. JCS looking like he programmed for punches, works inside the clinch for an opening. Evading JCS’s attack, Khunsuk had several hard connecting kicks. Skarbowsky’s heart coming out to make a statement, and stalks his opponent till the very end; scouring the ring for a window. And at the end, just when the bell sounds, I slip out my corner of the ring, and in the corner of my eye, a see JCS in his corner, catching Khunsuk’s left kick, with left hook, knocks Khunsuk on the mat in a blank stare, he gets right up, all in that one moment in time.

Jean Charles Skarbowksy WINS 48:49 unanimous; this puts JCS ahead 2:1 vs. Khunsuk Petchsupapan.
