This sports crap and steroids is getting old

Ok....Now a lot of this pissed me off.
First off smoking is legal, so is alcohol, let's not even talk about the fact that it's legal to get fat as fuck, have health problems and have tax payers fund your medical bill. Then we get into the anti depressants and the damage they do to you.
Oh Oh ...don't forget Vioxx and other drugs that are legal and can give you a heart attack.
*Stands up and waves hands* "my turn...my turn"...what about the fact that the FDA doesn't regulate half the supplements or pro-hormones on the market...cause they mostly don't work for shit, and they are more than happy to let people spend their hard earned money on a DUD product. Oh but let it work and *BAM* it becomes a controlled substance.
 (Then again the FDA doesn't regulate a lot of drugs on the market...even prescription, it lets the pharm companies police themselves.)
Then let's use the FDA's own words and turn them around here....they say TOO MANY PEOPLE ARE WORRIED ABOUT THE NEGATIVES AND NOT ENOUGH ABOUT THE GOOD A DRUG CAN DO....that was the basic jist of it. it's not word for word but it's close.
SOOOooooooo if that is good enough to say about Vioxx and other drugs that big pharmaceuticals are pushing...Oh yes and it's not ok to take steroids, but it is ok to see a commercial that says if you have diarrhea for more than a day then you should go to your doctor and see if Shitstop is right for you...1 in 10 lab participants had signs of testicular shrinkage, while 3 in 10 had pounding migraines, and only 7 in ten had blood in their urine. Shitstop may not be right for you, but ask your doctor.
Oh yeah those commercials send the right message to kids right....better message than steroids could ever send.....hey you sneeze, fart, cough, or masturbate...you should be medicated, so run Johnny...run as fast as you can...straight to your doctor who is being paid to medicate you even though you don't need it...but we want you to think you do.
Why isn't that government stance about weighing benefits against sides good enough when it comes to steroids?
Sure steriods can have some major risks to them. So does any prescription drug on the market which is what makes their argument BS if anyone would even halfway pretend to be intelligent and stop letting lawmakers act on our emotions.
It would be so much better to have them legal where one can take them and be under a doctors care.
What do they think it will make more people or kids want to take them? Please if they want them, they can get them now.
And if they were legal but you had to be over 21 for them...in all honesty most of the source market would dry out, making it very difficult for kids to get them anyway. At least more difficult than it is today.
