Who is he fighting again in the first round ?
I think against brawlers he will do fine but against fighters as Nog, Werdum will sub him. He still got to work his groundgame, but wait and see what will happen. He's defenitaly entertaining to watch if they dare to fight him like a man

I think he'll do well, he seems to have good instincts for MMA, he has good scrambling for a relative MMA newbie and is very strong and quick with great stamina when he's in shape. He also seems to have a good sense of ground work in general.

Like Quadros said I think, very good natural street fight skills. No doubt his job is in the ring. And 1000% YES, I also hope like most of people he will go far in MMA !
I hope at his point he can still learn serious ground defenses. |

I'll tell you after I see what shape he's in for this fight. He seems to me to be a hot and cold fighter with his last fight being cold. I also want to see him face a fighter with serious ground skills......one that's under the age of 50....which means that TK doesn't cut it.

He's still green to MMA but man is he has natural talent. Einemo should sort out Hunt's ground game. The problem is that already being a successful K-1 fighter he'll get thrown in with the top guys pretty quick. It's do or die but because he's a Samoan Monster I think he'll do just fine.

Well, he sounds like a nice guy and, depending on his opponent, his fights can be exciting, he's very entertaining and with him we get to see stuf like butt and knee drops, not to mention his KO power, which is immense, but i hope he never gets to be Pride champion, ever.
Why? Because he's not the best fighter out there, let's be honest, as much as we may like him if it wasn't for his brick head and the fact that he's usually much heavier than his opponents he would never have gotten so far in the fight game. He's very powerful, but so are other guys, i think his hard head is his most important tool.~ I'd rather see guys like Fedor, Mirko, Nogueira and others (if we're just talking about heavyweights) that are skillful in a level Hunt isn't, winning the imortant titles. But this doesn't mean i don't like him or that i don't want him winning fights. |

mark hunt has transitioned into mma better than mirko in my opinion. Mirko was never a K-1 Grand champ, and mirko doesn't seem as wily or seem to have the raw aggression that hunt has. Mark was always one of my favorite fighters, so of course I will always go for him in any fight, no matter who he goes against. and like the pancake said, once he fights fedor I'll be truly happy
