Branco Cikatic?

Just how good was Branco in K-1 and Muay Thai fights? I heard that in his prime he was twice as good as Mirko Crocop! Clips or pictures would be nice!

He was THE man but peaked long before K-1 came around.

Twice as good as anyone in the top 16 is a bit of an exageration though....

Branko was very dangerous, even past his prime, but never twice as good as Mirko. His right hand was so deadly but that was only his truely deadly weapon unlike Mirko who has both punches and the best kicks at heavy weight.

Cikatic was the first Grand Prix winner but that victory will always be a lesser win than those of Aerts, Hoost, and Hug because he had a VERY easy road to the finals by fighting a vastly smaller Changpuek and Satake while Hoost had to fight Aerts (in his first match), then Mo, then Branko himself.

Cikatic was beastly, one match in particular of his from 94 stands out. It was a superfight with Hoost and Cikatic just brutalizes Hoost before catching him with an ungodly straight right that looked like it damn near sent Hoost back to Holland in a coffin. Personally, I'd say Cikatic was better than CroCop.

Branko was more dangerous than Crocop. And yeah he was beyond his prime by the time K-1 started.

Branko, like mirko had this killer instinct and aire of ruthlessness about him
he was a great and agressive fighter and pretty much was top in his time but as the others said, he was beyond his prime then and others like hoost et al were just growing
